Shauna and John are planning a NOBO thru hike of the Applachian Trail beginning in mid March 2017. I'll be posting a couple times a week or so to let you know how things are shakin' on our hike.

ABOUT SHAUNA AND JOHN

In 1967 I hiked with a boy scout troop 76 miles in 6 days on the Appalachian Trail. For the past 45 years I've been dreaming about hiking the whole thing. Over the past 10 years we have hiked about 700 miles (Roanoke to New Jersey), a week at a time. In mid March Shauna (no trail name yet) and I (Pappy 12) will begin a 2,190 mile AT thru hike.
